JSC Holcim-Azerbaijan started supplying retail packaged cement Qaradag Expert
JSC Holcim (Azerbaijan) announced the delivery of retail packed cement brand Qaradag Expert, previously sold on wholesale.
"The plant offers small and medium customers the opportunity to buy them in the required cement volume," the statement of the company says. Prior to this, two brands were sold in bags, Special and Optimal.
Qaradag Expert products used in the manufacture of high-strength concrete for reinforced concrete structures , dry mixes , insulation materials , tile products, etc.
Annual capacity of JSC Holcim (Azerbaijan) is 1.7 million tons of cement. The cement is delivered to customers mostly on wholesale.
Cement production is carried out in a new kiln. Older furnaces will be liquidated by the end of this year. Reserved for this is about 4 million manat.
According to the State Statistics Committee, for the three months of this year Azerbaijan produced 558,100 tons of cement, which is 44 % more than in the comparable period of 2013. The volume of imports of cement in terms of money during this period was approximately the same as in January-March last year - about $ 27 million - 08D-
