July was Expensive for Users of Transport Services
Transportation of goods went up in prices in July. According to the State Statistics Committee, the prices increased significantly - by 0.5%, and the cost of transportation of passengers increased even more - by 1%.
According to statistics, the average tariff for the transportation by rail of 10 tons of cargo at a distance of 1 km for goods imported from abroad decreased by 3.3%, in local areas it rose by 8.5%, on transit - by 1.8% and when exporting - by 1.2%.
Passengers bought 1.9% cheaper airline tickets to the CIS countries, but tickets to non-CIS countries went up by 2.1%.
Transportation by pipelines of liquid hydrocarbons was higher by 0.8%. - 17D-

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
