A meeting was arranged with the freshmen this year at the University of Information Technology. The Minister of Communication and ICT Ali Abbasov donated laptops to all the students. The reason is simple - the minimum passing grade in a new school is 610, which corresponds to 23 points of the Soviet applicants.
According to the ministry, the students also have the opportunity to take advantage of some of the privileges of the ministry, in particular, the possibility of an internship in the associations and enterprises of the ministry, work in, or in the private sector at the end of high school, a master's graduates in passing abroad. There are also plans to provide incentive awards in the form of additional grants, participation in summer schools, etc. It also provides material assistance to students with low-income families, providing a hostel, etc.
The University of Information Technology was created by presidential decree Feb. 1, 2013 . The University for 2013-2014 academic year for a bachelor's degree by the state order will be training in the relevant specialties , including information security , computer science, computer engineering , engineering information technology and systems. In the first year there will be intense instruction in English. Then, in the next four years, applicants will be able to train for their chosen professions in English.
Education for the English language students for 2013-2014 academic year will be arranged by the Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy to complete the construction of an appropriate building for the University at AZ1008 Baku, Akhmedbek Agaoglu Street, 11 ( near the metro station Genjlik). -17D-
