Baku / 14.06.17 / Turan: Georgia and Azerbaijan have great prospects for expanding economic cooperation, the Georgian Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Georgi Gakharia said at a meeting with his counterpart, Minister of Economy of Azerbaijan Shahin Mustafayev, on June 14.
During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on the joint presentation of the transit potential of the two countries, the tripartite business forum with the participation of Turkey in the city of Gence, the use of the capabilities of the Azerbaijani satellite, the expansion of ties in tourism, etc., Turan was told in the press service of the Ministry of Economy.
According to the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan, 280 companies with participation of Georgian capital are registered in Azerbaijan. Over 200 companies with the participation of Azerbaijani capital are registered in Georgia. At the same time, Georgian entrepreneurs have invested $ 72 million in the economy of Azerbaijan, and total investments in the opposite direction reach $ 3.4 billion. -----08D

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
