MTCHT Responded to Turan's Information Request Not on Merits
Baku / 02.09.20 / Turan: The Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies (MTCHT) responded 14 days later to an information request from the Turan agency dated August 17, 2020, regarding the Baku Taxi Service Department of the Ministry.
The response letter of MTCHT says: In connection with the request of the Turan news agency about the financial conditions for the import of LEVC TX taxi models into the country, we inform you that the corresponding Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev “On measures to update the fleet of taxi cars” allocated funds for the purchase of 100 cars of the LEVC TX5 model.
It follows from the answer that the ministry avoids answering the agency's information request.
There was only one question in the request:
1. Under what financial conditions were the taxis imported (price, loan interest, loan term)?
Today, the Director of Turan Agency Mehman Aliyev sent a letter to the MTCHT with a repeated request to answer the specifically posed question of August 17.
Previously, the agency questioned the business sense of purchasing London taxis. –0—
