New Service for Intra Phone Calls
Aztelecom Production Association of the Ministry of Communications and High Technologies of Azerbaijan has introduced a new nationwide prefix "585" for subscribers of the public telephone network.
According to the report, the prefix "585" can be used throughout the country. The new service allows almost free calls to landlines intra-network and wireless networks CDMA (cost of connection is 30 manat, and the customer fee is 15 AZN per year).
At present, the monthly rate for the use of fixed devices is 2.50 manat, and the price per minute for long distance calls is 5 kopecks.
From 1 January by the decision of the Tariff Council of Azerbaijan the fee for installation of a phone is 30 manat, and for international calls it is the standard 32 kopecks per minute regardless of the area - from Iran to Canada and Oceania. --17D-
