Number of Registered Taxpayers Increased by 25.5%

Bulgarian President Rumen Radev intends to visit Azerbaijan on May 8 at the invitation of his Azerbaijani counterpart, President Ilham Aliyev. This visit, which was postponed from last month due to internal political turmoil in Bulgaria, is aimed at strengthening the strategic partnership between the two countries in many sectors.

During the official visit of Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico to Azerbaijan, important agreements on military cooperation were signed.

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico met at the presidential residence in Zugulba on Monday to discuss cooperation in the natural gas sector, as part of the Slovak Prime Minister's official visit to Azerbaijan. This meeting underscores the strategic shifts occurring as Europe seeks to diversify its energy sources away from Russian gas.

Heydar Aliyev International Airport witnessed a significant increase in passenger traffic in April 2024. The airport, which is a vital hub connecting Azerbaijan with the whole world, served about 570,000 passengers during the month, which is 50% more than in the same period last year, when its terminals served 379,000 passengers.
