"Pepsi" producer denied authorisation for packaging activity
Baku/11.09.23/Turan: The Food Security Agency of Azerbaijan (FSA) denied food safety registration to 40 business entities in August. Among them is "Mars Overseas Baku" Ltd, a licensed producer of "Pepsi soft drinks" in Azerbaijan.
The Agency's message noted https://afsa.gov.az/storage/pages/7222/2023-cu-ilin-avqust-ayi-uzre-qida-tehlukesizliyi-qeydiyyatina-alinma-ve-qeydiyyatdan-imtina-hallari-ile-bagli-melumat.pdf that the company was denied permission for packaging activity. The reason is non-compliance with the requirements of sanitary norms and rules.
"Mars Overseas Baku" Ltd https://marsoverseas.az/ru/o-nas/ has been operating since 1999 in Baku. The main activities of the company are production and sale of fruit juices, carbonated and non-carbonated drinks, compotes and snacks. Besides Baku, the production process is carried out in Gabala, Lankaran and Guba canneries.
