Projects agreed air services agreements with nine countries
The geography of Azerbaijan civil air traffic with other countries can be expanded . Successful negotiations on this matter led the delegation of the State Civil Aviation Administration of the Republic of Azerbaijan headed by Director Fuad Guliyev at the sixth conference of multilateral air services negotiations (ICAN/2013) in Durban (South Africa) in early December.
With delegations of Jamaica , South Africa, Canada , Yemen and Bangladesh were agreed at the level of civil aviation experts text of the agreement on air traffic. With delegations of New Zealand , Kenya, Mongolia, Malaysia signed protocols on further harmonization of draft agreements .

A trilateral meeting of the foreign ministers, transport ministers, energy ministers, and heads of customs services of Russia, Iran, and Azerbaijan is set to take place soon to discuss the progress of the Rasht-Astara railway project, a key element of the International North-South Transport Corridor (INSTC).
