Insurance company AtaSigorta has collected in the first quarter of this year, 2 million 123.99 thousand manats of premiums for all types of insurance, which is almost one and a half times less than the same period of 2012, but in the two and a half times more than the level of two years ago.
Voluntary premiums amounted to AZN 1.5 million - 70.6% of total premiums. To prove the growth of compulsory say that two years ago the figure was 94%. According to the company, the highest level of collection of awards made in the field of voluntary health insurance (VHI) was 591.49 thsd manat, however for this position there is two-year slump.
The following positions situation is this: under hull insurance cars they collected 508.92 thsd manat for property insurance against fire and other risks - 272.33 thousand manats, for insurance against accidents and illnesses - 64.5 thousand manats.
Cargo insurance collected 17.23 thsd manat, insurance of other types of property - 26.61 thsd manat (we are talking about fraud employees). Nothing was collected on three types of insurance are always active - air, rail and water transport. But premiums were collected by insurance for foreign travel (4.67 thsd).
Liability insurance in the aggregate collected 18.65 thsd manat, of which 8 thsd manat fell on insurance of liability of owners of vehicles, 10.65 thsd AZN (last year there were 200 manat) - for a total civil liability.
For compulsory insurance collected 624.24 thsd manat, of which 144.2 thsd manat - property insurance, 2.37 thsd manat - liability insurance for property owners, 477.67 thsd manat - insurance of liability of owners of vehicles (new CTP).
Payments for insured events of the company amounted to 506.8 thsd manat (AZN 26 thsd less than last year), of which 370.58 thsd manat - voluntary position. For example, payments made by VHI were 90.65 thsd AZN, on accidents - 12.91 thsd, in cases of car accidents and major problems - 68.33 thousand, fire insurance - 198.7 thsd manat.
Payments in cases of compulsory insurance amounted to 136.22 thsd manat, and they all fell to new items, under the law on compulsory types of insurance.
The company AtaSigorta, which is one of the founders and member of the Bureau of Compulsory Insurance, has been operating in the insurance market since 2004 operates on 22 types of voluntary and 4 types of compulsory insurance.
Paid-up share capital of the company in February reached 7.6 million manat.

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
