Baku/03.08.21/Turan: The price for of AI-98 ("Super") gasoline increased in Azerbaijan. Since August 1, fuel of this brand has risen by 5 gapik - from 1.55 to 1.60 manat at gas stations.
The press secretary of SOCAR Petroleum CJSC Uzeyir Gabibbeyli explained the rise in price for AI-98 gasoline by the rise in the purchase price abroad, since this type of gasoline is imported to Azerbaijan.
It should be reminded that on July 31, the price for AI-95 gasoline increased by 5 gyapik (from 1.40 manat to 1.45 manat). This decision has also been motivated by the rise in prices for fuel in the producing country.- 06B-
