Signed an agreement on cooperation with Germany in the field of management and privatization of state property
In Berlin, between the State Committee for Property Affairs (SCPA) of Azerbaijan and the German Federal Ministry in early March, a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of management and privatization of public assets.
Agreement was signed by the chairman of SCPA Kerem Hasanov and CEO of Office for Management and Privatization of Federal Property at FMV Bruno Kahl, Turan was told in the press service of SCPA.
The Memorandum provides for mutual assistance in the field of legislation on management and privatization of state assets, the exchange of experiences and information, to attract investors to the privatization process, consulting services, etc.
After the signing ceremony Kerem Hasanov told about the process of privatization, which started in 1995. According to him, since that time has passed to private ownership of more than 45 thousand small enterprises and projects, joint-stock company of over 1,600 medium and large enterprises. The development of a method of privatized enterprises investment competitions was invested $ 982 million. The head of SCPA said that the privatization of owners formed, which covers more than 530 thousand people. All in all, the process of privatization in some way benefited 1.5 million citizens. - 08D -
