State Committee in Standardization has imposed a ban on the production activity of 13 businesses
The State Committee on Standardization, Metrology and Patents today announced the imposition of a ban on the production activities of 13 industrial facilities in Baku and regions of the country, belonging to natural persons and legal entities.
The Committee’s press service told Turan in the course of inspections carried out in the shops for the production of soft drinks and soft drinks, dairy products, bakery products, and caramel they found serious violations of the state standards. For example, a dairy plant firm Amal, located in the Khatai district of Baku, is without technological instruction. It does not comply with the requirements for compounding products, and sanitary rules and regulations. LLC DMC Company acted without the technological instructions and recipes. Moreover, the production of soft drinks and juices used synthetic dyes and concentrates of unknown origin. The product’s labeling states that the product is fruit juice. Shelf-life of the items is not marked on the standard.
So far the Committee has never informed the public about the results of audits of state control in companies with a predominant position in the market of food products, such as Gilan Qebele Konserv Zavodu, Qafqaz Konserv Zavodu, Az-Geanata, PAI-Sud , Milk-Pro, etc. - 08D-
