Taxes Ministry promulgated the "black list" of taxpayers
Tax Ministry unveiled a "black list" of taxpayers failing to meet tax obligations. The list included operating in northern areas 10 taxpayers whose tax debt payments as of July 15 are only 15,396 manat.
In the "black list» of the Ministry of Taxes included nine individuals and one company - Azerbaijani-Scottish LLC Uzun Meshe. Their debts to the state budget do not exceed 2,300 manat.
According to the law "On Commercial Secrets" and the Tax Code, the tax debts are not considered trade secrets taxpayers. The list of public company information does not include information on tax payments. In other words, Azerbaijan tax payments can not be disclosed to third parties without the consent of the taxpayer.
In many countries, lists of the largest and most law-abiding taxpayers are compiled. Azerbaijani legislation does not allow this and so citizens do not have the opportunity to get information about that. -08D-
