Tomorrow starts Exhibition BakuBuild 2013
On Tuesday there was a press conference dedicated to the 19th Azerbaijan International Exhibition "Building BakuBuild 2013". Showing 20 % growth in exhibition space, Caspian Construction Week tomorrow accepts 490 companies from 32 countries.
The press conference was attended by the Head of the Department of International Relations and Information Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture Jahangir Gojayev, Executive Director of ITE Group Plc Edward Strachan and other persons who spoke about the role of the construction exhibition in the development of the country as a whole.
The 19th exhibition "Construction " BakuBuild 2013 opens its doors on October 23 in Baku Expo Center. This year, fully occupied are the center of the hall and the foyer and the outdoor playground. New exhibitors represent 50 % of the total number of participants. Sponsors of the exhibition are Norm, Holcim Azerbaijan and Emirates Steel.
This year's exhibition stand includes directly 7 national teams of Germany, Greece, Italy, Iran , UAE, Portugal and Finland. The most numerous ( 67 companies ) is a group of entrepreneurs from the cities of Italy : Brescia and Milan, as well as in the province of Novara. The national team of the United Arab Emirates , which oversees the organization of Dubai Exports, participates in the exhibition for the first time . Also on display will be the collective participation of businessmen from Turkey. Increased area occupied by Chinese companies.
Encouraging for the organizers is the growing number of local actors, which this year took 38 % of the exhibition area. Companies from Azerbaijan show at BakuBuild 2013 extensive local production of building materials industry and services.
From 24 to 25 October, with the support of Dubai Export a business forum Dubai and Azerbaijani businessmen. October 25 will be held the third meeting of the Caspian - European Construction Club. Theme of the meeting: "Prospects and development of the construction industry in the region ."
On the same site with BakuBuild are 5th International Exhibition "Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning , Water Supply , Sanitation, Technology for Environmental Protection , Pools & Renewable Energy " Aqua-Therm Baku 2013 and 6th Caspian International Exhibition " Protection, Security and Rescue" CIPS Caspian 2013 .

At today’s session of the Milli Majlis, Azerbaijan’s parliamentarians discussed and approved in the first reading a draft law increasing the minimum subsistence level for 2025. The updated figures reflect a modest rise of 10 manats, setting the nationwide living wage at 285 manats. For specific demographics, the levels are 305 manats for the working population, 232 manats for pensioners, and 246 manats for children. The same session also approved the criterion of need at 285 manats for the coming year, aligning it with the national living wage.
