Turkey nationalizes lands for TANAP gas pipeline
On Wednesday Turkish and then international media reported quoting Turkish Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Taner Yildiz that TANAP gas pipeline will be nationalized. But Minister’s words have been “interpreted literally.”
One of the Turkish officials explained to Turan that Taner Yildiz wanted to say that on Monday the Ministry of Energy submitted required documents concerning nationalization of lands, which will be need for TANAP gas pipeline construction, to the government.
TANAP gas pipeline will start from the Georgian-Turkish border and reach the Turkish-Greek border. Total length of the pipeline will be 1790 km.—0-

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
