Two more companies created at known address at 7 S.Vurghun Street
The Ministry of Taxes registered two commercial companies at the publicly known address 7 Samad Vurghun Street in Baku. This would not be surprising, if there were not two "buts."
According to the information published May 21 in the official gazette of the Ministry of Taxes, the Klovan and Callina companies have registered capital of 50,000 manat. The ad is no information about the director of these companies. While the names of legal representatives were shown for all the rest companies registered the same day (April 1). The electronic database of the Ministry of Taxes has no data about these companies.
Several years ago, Turan on the basis of Azerbaijan's Central Election Commission noted that at 7 Samad Vurghun Street in Baku members of the family of President Ilham Aliyev are registered. At the same address legally registered are several companies that officially belong to the Aliyevs family. Among them, there is LLC Ador, which is co-founder of several commercial banks and industrial and investment companies. It is noteworthy that in the electronic database of the Ministry of Taxes it is impossible to find information about this company.
In June 2012 an amendment was made to Azerbaijan’s legislation, prohibiting disclosure of information in official resources on the founders of commercial companies and their equity participation. This happened after the media published data about numerous companies belonging to the ruling Aliyevs family and their surroundings. Despite the existence of a law on the declaration of income of public servants (Law on Combating Corruption) since 2005, Azerbaijan is one of the few countries in the Council of Europe, where the demand did not go beyond "empty declarations". As a result of this, the ruling oligarchy nomenclature has become a core of business. - 08B-
