4-5 September in New York they will discuss the problems of communication and information technologies in the framework of the 67th session of the UN General Assembly. Azerbaijan is to be represented by the minister Ali Abbasov.
As the press service of the ministry said, as keynote speakers, except Abbasov, there will be the current Chairman of the UN General Assembly, Foreign Minister of Serbia Vuk Jeremic and Deputy Secretary General of the United Nations Economic and Social Affairs Wu Hongbo.
Discussions at the meeting will be held within the framework of the resolution adopted by the General Assembly on the establishment of the Eurasian alliance ties (Eurasian Connectivity Alliance-EuraCA), initiated by the Government of Azerbaijan.
The visit will include bilateral meetings of the Minister Ali Abbasov with UN officials and company executives. -17D-
