Violations of land legislation reduced
Baku/13.02.14/Turan : In 2013, the inspectors of the State Committee on Land and Cartography found 422 violations of land legislation related to changes in land use purpose , the acquisition of territory , etc. In the previous year the number of detected offenses reached 440.
The press service of the SCLC told Turan that 150 cases were drawn up , which is two times less than in 2012 . The total amount of fines was 15 372.5 manat, which is 30% less than the year before.
Land laws are infringed mainly by individuals.
Azerbaijan has widespread development areas without authorization of state structures. According to unofficial data , about half a million individual houses have been built on the land, on which the citizens do not have property rights. - 08D -

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
