Azerbaijan and China signed a memorandum on the implementation of projects from alternative energy sources
Baku/02.06.23//Turan: The Ministry of Energy of Azerbaijan has signed a Memorandum of Intent with the Chinese "China Gezhouba Group Overseas Investment" on the implementation of projects in the field of renewable energy sources (RES) with a capacity of 2 GW, the press service of the Ministry of Energy of Azerbaijan.
Cooperation is also planned to assess the potential for investments in industrial solar energy, land-based marine and wind energy, as well as projects for the production of green hydrogen in Azerbaijan.
It should be noted that over the past two years, the Government of Azerbaijan has signed memoranda of intent and other documents with various foreign companies on the implementation of projects in the field of renewable energy with a total capacity of 25 GW. --0-
