BP to reduce atmospheric emissions from gas production in Azerbaijan

“Tatneft” will enter into a project to develop one of the oldest fields in Azerbaijan – “Bibi-Eybat,” where it will collaborate with the Azerbaijani company SOCAR on the introduction of technologies, the head of “Tatneft” Nail Maganov  stated last week during a "Dialogue on equal terms" with participants of the V International Oil and Gas Youth Forum in Almetyevsk.

There will be interruptions in the gas supply to Gobustan and Guba regions today,  “Azerigaz Production Association of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR)” announced.

Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan plan to sign an intergovernmental agreement on strategic partnership in the field of development and transfer of green energy,. the Government of Kazakhstan announced.

Russia became the main supplier of gas to Greece in January-June 2024. Russia accounted for more than 50% of imports, according to the operator of the Greek gas transportation system DESFA. On July 11, the company published the results of natural gas consumption in the first half of 2024.
