Slovak Prime Minister called the possible transit of Azerbaijani gas through Ukraine a "bubble inflating"

The European Commission denied a report by Financial Times about discussions within the European Union regarding the potential resumption of Russian pipeline gas supplies to the EU as part of a settlement of the situation in Ukraine.

The annual transit of Kazakh oil from the “Kashagan” field through the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline will amount to 240,000 tons, the press service of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR).

BP-Azerbaijan plans to begin a seismic survey program at the "Shah Deniz" field in 2025. According to the company's data, among the upcoming key activities is a series of seismic studies to monitor changes in the gas layers. "The research will be carried out as part of the "Shah Deniz" seismic survey program for 2025-2034," reports the British company.

In 2024, Türkiye imported 21.5 bcm of gas from Russia – both in the form of LNG and through pipelines. This represents a 2.6% increase compared to 2023.
