Putin`s rejection of the Grain deal will lead to the implementation of this project without Russia
The Kremlin's vociferous statement that Russia is terminating its participation in the Grain deal and will consider all ships going to the ports of Ukraine as carrying weapons and legitimate targets is clearly propaganda in nature.
If to look at the map of the Black Sea, or rather at the borders of the territorial waters of coastal states, it is not difficult to notice that the path from the Bosporus passes through the territorial waters of Turkey, Bulgaria, Romania and only then reaches the territorial waters of Ukraine. In the same place - at the mouth of the Danube River is located one of the Ukrainian ports - Izmail.
The way from the mouth of the Danube to Odessa is the most dangerous place and it is there that the Russians threaten with some military sanctions, trying to intimidate grain-carrying vessels.
At present, merchant ships are quietly proceeding to the ports of Bulgaria and Romania, so the task is to ensure the safety of navigation from the borders of Romania (a NATO member) to Odessa. It is about 200 km along the coast and the most dangerous place.
Given that the Ukrainian fleet is almost destroyed, Turkey and the US 6th Fleet based in the Mediterranean Sea can take over the protection of naval vessels.
Turkey's Black Sea Fleet consists of dozens of surface ships, submarines of various classes. According to military experts, the Turkish fleet is not inferior in its power to the Russian Black Sea Fleet, and in some respects, even surpasses it.
Given the West's interest in deterring Russia and continuing the Grain deal, it is highly likely that Ankara and Washington are discussing the issue of participating in the protection of merchant ships exporting grain from Ukraine.
The entry of a dozen ships of the US 6th Fleet into the Black Sea will cool Putin's ardor and nullify his attempts to block the Grain deal.
Such a scenario would deal a huge blow to the Kremlin's prestige and further weaken its position in the war with Ukraine.
In addition, the presence of a large number of NATO ships in the conflict zone will make the Russian Black Sea Fleet vulnerable in terms of its actions and intentions.
To implement this idea, Turkey must obtain the consent of Western countries to change the regime of the Bosporus Strait. Thus, according to the Montreux Convention of 1936, warships of third countries can enter the Black Sea for no more than 10 days.
With the beginning of Russia's aggression against Ukraine, Turkey has already imposed a ban on the entry of any warships into the Black Sea and back through the Bosporus.
Now the Turks will have to open the way for NATO ships and continue to block the Russian fleet. With his rash actions, Putin only brings such a development of events closer.

On October 1, discussions about Azerbaijan were held at the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE). Earlier this year, the mandate of Azerbaijan's delegation to the body had not been confirmed, with the key reasons being Baku’s lack of cooperation with the monitoring procedure and the country’s decision not to invite the Assembly to the February 7 presidential elections. Some members of the debate viewed the non-confirmation of Azerbaijan's mandate as a mistake, while the majority stated that no change had been observed in Baku's cooperation with the organization.
