GDP Contraction Will Continue - Minister of Finance
Baku / 05.08.20 / Turan: Following the results of six months, there was a positive dynamics in the execution of the state budget and a surplus of 292 million manats was formed.
Finance Minister Samir Sharifov announced this at a parliamentary session.
According to him, budget expenditures were fulfilled by 107 million manat. At the same time, Samir Sharifov predicted a further decline in GDP.
“Since April there has been a decrease in the country's GDP. We expect that the reduction in GDP will continue,” he said.
In addition, the Minister noted that this year the income of the State Oil Fund will decline. –71D-
