Erdogan and Putin discussed the situation in Crimea
Baku/05.03.14/Turan : On the initiative of Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan he held a telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin in connection with the events in the Crimea.
According to the apparatus of the Turkish Prime Minister, Erdogan conveyed to Putin that the last word in connection with the crisis in Ukraine should remain for the people of this country. He noted that the unstable situation in Ukraine and its deepening have a negative impact on the entire region.
Turkish Prime Minister also noted that resolving the crisis must comply with the principles of international law and inter-state relations.
Referring to the Crimea, Erdogan focused on creating conditions for peaceful coexistence of the local population in the face of Russians, Crimean Tatars and Ukrainians. -05D04-
