Erdogan: Use of S-400 Anti-aircraft against Turkish Warplanes to Be Considered Act of Aggression
Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that if a Turkish warplane is shot down over Syrian airspace from the complex S-400, which has been set by Russia, Ankara will regard it as an act of aggression.
In an interview with CNN, he said that the attack on the Turkish warplanes from the S-400 in the Syrian sky "will certainly be regarded as an act of aggression against our sovereignty and a violation of our right to defend the sovereignty and it will force Turkey to "take appropriate measures".
In the previously published fragment of Erdogan’s interview with CNN the Turkish President said that Turkey does not consider it necessary to apologize for the Russian Su-24 bomber downed on 24 November, but on the contrary, believes that the apology is to be brought by "the party that violated the airspace of Turkey". -02D-
