İranian student took off her clothes protesting against hijab
A student at the Islamic Azad University in Tehran took off her clothes and walked around the campus after being harassed for wearing the hijab incorrectly, Iran International reports.
A video of a girl walking around the courtyard of the university's Research Department in her underwear has gone viral on social media.
In another video, several men push her into a car and drive her away. The student has been arrested and her motives are being investigated, university spokesman Amir Mahjoub said.
The girl took off her clothes after being harassed for wearing the hijab incorrectly by members of the Basij paramilitary group, who tore off her headscarf and clothes, the student publication Amir Kabir Newsletter reported.
According to the publication, the girl was beaten during her arrest, including being hit on the car door by her head, with blood on the tires.
