Pashinyan asks Putin for help
On October 31, Prime Minister of Armernia, Nikol Pashinyan, sent a letter to Russian President Vladimir Putin, in which he thoroughly presented the situation that has developed as a result of the war in Nagorno-Karabakh and "the challenges that have arisen in connection with it."
"Taking into account the approach of hostilities to the border of Armenia, the facts of encroachments on the territory of Armenia, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia appealed to the President of the Russian Federation for immediate consultations in order to determine the type and amount of assistance that the Russian Federation can provide to the Republic of Armenia to ensure its security. Based on the allied relations between Armenia and Russia and Article 2 of the "Treaty on Friendship, Cooperation and Mutual Assistance" dated August 29, 1997," the Armenian Foreign Ministry reports. -0-
