The NSDC has developed instructions for Ukrainians in case of a nuclear strike
unian: Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Alexey Danilov says that Russia's possible use of nuclear weapons will not stop Ukraine from defending its territories.
Danilov said this in a comment to Radio Liberty.
"If there is no response from the world community, NATO countries to such an audacious attack (if, God forbid, it happens), it does not mean that we will not defend our land. No one can stop us: neither Putin nor his troops. And this has been repeatedly proven," he stressed.
According to Danilov, the NSDC apparatus has developed detailed instructions for citizens in case Russia uses tactical nuclear weapons and intends to "make it public as much as possible" in the coming days.
As you know, earlier the Russian occupiers began holding pseudo-referendums in the captured parts of the Kherson, Zaporozhye, Donetsk and Lugansk regions.
After that, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation stated that the nuclear doctrine would be extended to the territories "attached" to them.
On September 24, the Vice-President of the European Commission, Josep Borrel, said that the EU should take seriously Putin's threats about the possibility of using nuclear weapons in the war in Ukraine.
Borrel noted that the war had reached a "dangerous moment." He recalled that in an address at the beginning of the week, Putin said that his country has "various weapons of destruction" and "uses all available means," adding: "I'm not bluffing."
