13 310 crimes were registered in the first half of the year
Baku/05.08.20/Turan: In the first half of 2020, 13 310 criminal offenses were registered in Azerbaijan. This was announced by the country's Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev at an operational meeting on August 5.
According to him, the crime situation is under control and with an indicator of 132 crimes per 100 thousand population, Azerbaijan occupies one of the leading places in the CIS, and in the European space it is considered one of the safest and most stable states.
86.5% of all registered crimes do not pose a great public danger. Only 13.5% of the crimes were serious or especially serious.
The crime detection rate was 82.1%. The remaining 241 crimes from the previous years have been solved, 103 criminal groups have been neutralized, Kamran Aliyev said. — 06D-
