800 Armenian soldiers were charged with two thousand criminal cases
Baku/28.09.21/Turan: The Prosecutor General's Office, National Security Service, Investigative Committee of Armenia are investigating more than two thousand criminal cases due to the defeat of the Armenian army in the course of the Second Karabakh War-2020.
According to Sputnik-Armenia, the facts of violations in the conscription and formation of military units, cases of desertion, illegal export of weapons and ammunition from Nagorno-Karabakh to Armenia, draft evasion, non-compliance with orders, etc. are investigated.
Also, episodes of troops handling during the fighting near Lele-Tepe hill, towns of Jabrail and Hadrut, villages of Tagavard, Sgnakh, Dashalty and town of Shusha are investigated as well.
Besides, episodes of extortion of money from relatives of servicemen who went missing or were captured are investigated, as well as the alleged "sale" of Karabakh for $ 5 billion.
Suffice it to say that 150 persons, including the leaders of the Karabakh separatists, are on trial due to the defeat of the Armenian forces in the south of Karabakh (Jabrayil) and near Shusha. On the basis of evidence available, it was decided to bring to justice more than 800 persons involved, the report says. -02D-
