Adjara and Nakhchivan develop bilateral ties
On October 4 the Chairman of the Supreme Majlis of Nakhchivan Vasif Talybov received the Chairman of the Supreme Council of Adjara (Georgia) Avtandil Beridze.
As the press service of the Supreme Majlis said, during the meeting Talybov called for expanding cooperation between the two autonomous republics in the areas of health and education, noting that there is good potential for the development of their relations.
In turn, Avtandil Beridze expressed appreciation for the organization of the treatment of children from Adjara in the physiotherapy center Duzdag.
He expressed confidence in further development of mutual cooperation in the future.
During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on the prospects of relations. -02D-

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev sent a congratulatory message to Czech President Petr Pavel on the occasion of the Czech Republic’s National Day. In Georgia’s parliamentary elections, the ruling "Georgian Dream" party achieved a significant majority in areas with large Armenian and Azerbaijani populations: Akhalkalaki – 88%, Ninotsminda – 90%, Marneuli – 80%, Bolnisi – 81%, Tetritskaro – 68.6%, Dmanisi – 76.4%, Tsalka – 69.3%, and Gardabani – 70.8%. Footage of ballot-stuffing in Marneuli circulated widely on social media in Georgia and beyond. Meanwhile, "Georgian Dream" lost in Tbilisi, where national minorities are few.
