Baku/22.02.23/Turan: On February 21, from 20:45 to 01:20, the positions of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces were fired on 15 times from the Armenian side in various sectors of the front, the press service of the Ministry of Defense reported on the morning of February 22.
Thus, fire from small arms and sniper rifles was opened from the territory of Armenia at the positions of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces in the direction of the village of Agdam in the Tovuz region and the Sadarak region of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
In addition, Armenian formations in Karabakh fired at the positions of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces in the direction of the village of Tazakend in the Kalbajar region, as well as the city of Shusha and positions in the Khojavend region.
The Azerbaijani Armed Forces have taken adequate response measures, the report says. In turn, the message of the command of the Peacekeeping contingent of the Russian Federation reported on "violation of the ceasefire in the Mardakert region."
Recall that this is the most serious violation of the ceasefire in recent months.
