"President Aliyev's recent territorial claims are very alarming. Any violation of Armenia's territorial integrity is unacceptable and will have serious consequences for our relations with Azerbaijan."
This was stated by the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell on Monday evening in Brussels.
Speaking at a press conference following the meeting of the EU Council of Foreign Ministers, he said that the EU member states believe that Azerbaijan should return to substantive negotiations and settlement of relations with Armenia.
He also noted that EU countries express solidarity with France, whose diplomats were expelled (from Azerbaijan).
