Amenians must leave Lachin before the end of August - media
Baku/04.08.22/Turan: Through the mediation of peacekeepers, an agreement was reached that the Armenians should leave Lachin by the end of August, reported on August 4 a number of Armenian media, citing sources in Karabakh.
By the specified date, the Armenian side undertakes to build a road bypassing Lachin - this is a 3-kilometer section of the road from the village of Kornidzor along the border with Azerbaijan, where an alternative road to the current Lachin corridor begins.
Indirect confirmation of this message became the statement of the Minister of Infrastructure of Armenia Gnel Sanosyan. “The road is being built, the process is divided into three parts. By spring, the construction of the road will be completed,” he told reporters, answering the question: is the road being built to bypass Lachin. ---02D---
