An Armenian drone was intercepted in the sky over Nakhchivan
Baku/16.09.23/Turan: On September 16, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense announced the interception and neutralization of an Armenian Armed Forces drone carrying out a reconnaissance flight over Azerbaijani positions in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic (NAR).
A quadcopter belonging to units of the Armed Forces of Armenia attempted to carry out a reconnaissance flight over the defensive positions of units of the Separate Combined Arms Army of Azerbaijan in the direction of the village of Turkesh in the Shahbuz region of the NAR, the press service of the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said in a statement.
The quadcopter, discovered by Azerbaijani air defense units, was landed by special technical means and rendered harmless, the press release emphasizes.—06B-
