Another Azerbaijani Spy Caught in Armenia?
Yerevan / 08.10.20 / Turan: Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said on Thursday that he instructed the National Security Service to check information about people persuading soldiers to leave their posts at the front in Karabakh.
Pashinyan wrote on Facebook that a few days ago he received a signal that some people on one of the sections of the contact line were convincing the warring soldiers that “Nikol sold the land, and this is, in fact, a treaty war, and they were thrown into a meat grinder to hide this arrangement."
"Having been persuaded and even ordered, the soldiers were forced to leave some combat positions to the enemy. On my instructions, the NSS began an investigation, and one of the main persons involved in the case, a resident of Stepanakert, was found and detained in Yerevan," Pashinyan writes.
"Various versions are being considered, including a political one, but so far a lot is not clear. I call on our compatriots who have such information to contact the National Security Service," Pashinyan wrote.
According to him, information of this kind comes from other sectors of the front. "Everyone should be found and brought to justice. There should be no traitors in our ranks," he writes.
Recall that a couple of days ago, the National Security Service of Armenia announced the arrest of a former officer of the Ministry of Defense who allegedly worked for Azerbaijani intelligence. -02D-
