Attacker of Azerbaijani Embassy detained
The Iranian authorities confirmed the detention of the perpetrator of an armed attack on the Azerbaijani Embassy in Tehran. His name has not been released.
According to IRNA news agency, the police is investigating the case. Tehran Police сhief Hussain Rahimi said the attacker entered the Embassy with his two children. Preliminary reports say that the motive for the attack was "personal and family problems". -02D-

Armed attack on the Azerbaijani embassy in Iran, a security officer was killed
Baku/27.01.23/Turan: On January 27 at 8:30 an armed attack was made on the Azerbaijani embassy to Iran.
According to the records from the cameras of the Embassy the attacker opened fire from a machine gun. At the same time, an employee of the security service of the embassy was killed, and two more were injured.
The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry said in a statement that the deceased was the head of the embassy's security service Orkhan Askerov.
