Armed provocation against Lachin checkpoint, Azerbaijani border guard wounded
Baku/15.06.23/Turan: An Azerbaijani border guard was wounded as a result of shelling from the territory of Armenia at the Lachin border checkpoint, the State Border Service of Azerbaijan (BSA) reported.
"On June 15, at 08.45, as a result of a shot fired from the territory of the Republic of Armenia, a serviceman of the State Border Service of Azerbaijan serving at the Lachin border checkpoint was wounded," the BSA said in particular.
The wounded border guard was provided with primary medical care, there is no threat to his life, the report emphasizes.
"All responsibility for this provocation lies with the military-political leadership of Armenia," the message of the State Security Service of Azerbaijan reads in conclusion. -06B-
