Armenia is preparing to remove Pashinyan, while Aliyev and Erdogan discuss the creation of a peacekeeping center
Baku/10.11.20/Turan: On November 11, a rally will be held at the Freedom Square in Yerevan at the call of 17 opposition parties. The organizers consider the peace plan signed by Pashinyan "a betrayal".
“The most shameful page of our history was written yesterday. A treacherous agreement was signed behind the backs of the soldiers defending the land and statehood with their blood at the front, and all of us. Now, our collective unity, the exclusion of internal unrest and provocations, is urgently needed.
Tomorrow, on November 11, at 13:00, we invite everyone to a rally on Freedom Square in Yerevan, where a way out of the current situation will be presented,” it was reported.
The opposition does not hide that it will seek the resignation of Nikol Pashinyan from the post of prime minister and his government as a whole.
Meanwhile, the presidents of Azerbaijan and Turkey discussed by phone the creation of a Turkish-Russian peacekeeping center to monitor the ceasefire in Karabakh.
"Aliyev and Erdogan highly appreciated the creation of a Turkish-Russian peacekeeping center to monitor the ceasefire and expressed confidence that the center will contribute to ensuring lasting peace in the region," reads the statement of the Turkish President.
In turn, official Tehran expressed satisfaction with the agreement reached between Baku and Yerevan.
"The Islamic Republic of Iran welcomes the mediation of Russia between Azerbaijan and Armenia and the agreement of the parties in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict to a ceasefire," said head of the government administration Mahmoud Vaezi.
"We are committed to preserving internationally recognized borders of states and protecting the rights of citizens," he added. -02D-
