Armenian Attack Aircraft Su-25 Shot Down
Baku / 02.11.20 / Turan: On November 1, during the day, units of the Armenian armed forces attempted an attack on the Zangilan section of the Armenian-Azerbaijani state border.
The enemy fired at positions of Azerbaijani units from mortars and various large-caliber weapons in order to capture a number of advantageous heights in this direction, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said.
“The enemy's intention to attack was revealed in a timely manner by our units, and as a result of the successful operation, the enemy suffered heavy losses. During the battles, the enemy, having lost up to 30 servicemen in manpower, was forced to retreat to the territory of Armenia. As a result of the vigilance of the personnel of our units, the enemy Su-25 attack aircraft, which attacked our positions from the air, was also shot down,” it was reported. --06-----
