Armenian Soldier Detained on Front Line
Baku / 08/12/19 / Turan: An Armenian soldier was detained on the Fizuli direction of the Karabakh front this morning. According to the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense, the serviceman Ghazaryan Aro Gaykovich deserted from the military unit of the enemy.
"During the initial interrogation, it was established that the cause of desertion was arbitrariness in the military unit, where the detainee served, and inhuman treatment of the military," the press release said.
Ghazaryan was repeatedly subjected to physical and moral pressure from the commanders ", as evidenced by hematomas on his head and wounds on his body.
Currently, Ghazaryan is receiving medical assistance. Appropriate measures are being taken to investigate the event, the press release of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan concludes. -06D--
