Arms supplies and military dispatch from Armenia to Karabakh are not allowed - Ilham Aliyev
Baku/14.08.21/Turan: At the territory controlled by the Russian peacekeeping forces, the supply of weapons and military personnel from Armenia is not allowed. This is contrary to the November 10 Tripartite Declaration, stated by President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev in an interview with CNN Turk on Saturday.
“Unfortunately, this continues up to now. We have repeatedly expressed our comments orally. But it didn’t work, so we officially announced this now, ” Aliyev said.
According to him, Azerbaijan records all movements along the Lachin corridor and monitors everything that happens at the territory controlled by Russian peacekeeping.
“We know the exact number of cars going to Khankendi. Recently, over the past month - from July 11 to August 8, about 5 thousand people left Khankendi for Armenia and did not return. That is, 20 thousand people left, and 15 thousand people entered. So, we know the number of people there, ” Aliyev said.
He stated that the supply of arms and military to Karabakh should stop. “Of course this has to end. Because there is no logical basis for this. Or maybe Armenia preparing for a new war ?! If so, we will take preventive action. I said before and I repeat again - if Armenian fascism tries to rise again, we will crush its head once more. The defeat in the Second Karabakh war should be a lesson for them, ” Aliyev said.-0-
