Assistant of Putin justifies the supply of "Iskander" in Armenia
Russian president’s assistant Yuri Ushakov said that Moscow does not feel great optimism about the settlement of the Karabakh conflict in the near future, will continue to work with Yerevan and Baku. "I would not say that we are experiencing a great optimism about the resolution of this conflict in the near future, but we will continue to work persistently with Baku and Yerevan, of course," "RIA Novosti" quoted Ushakov. He refused to disclose the course of negotiations, noting that a lot of options and proposals are being discussed.
"But now, I say again, that the reason for optimism is not observed," he added. In this case the question about the causes of the supply of arms to Armenia by Russia, Ushakov said that Russia is Armenia's ally, and has the right to deliver those weapons, which are agreed with the partners.
