Authorities Did Not Sanction National Council's Rally on April 20
Baku / 17.04.19 / Turan: Baku Mayor"s Office refused to sanction the rally of the National Council of Democratic Forces, scheduled for April 20. The deputy chairman of the Popular Front Party Gezal Bayramly told Turan News Agency.
The rally was to be held under the slogan of freedom for political prisoners and against corruption.
The authorities last sanctioned the opposition rally on January 19th. The action turned out to attract many thousand people and caused a serious concern of the government. -03B-
