Azerbaijan Airlines will be able to make direct flights to U.S.
Baku/07.03.14/Turan : Until the end of 2014 will open direct flights between Azerbaijan and the United States. This was announced by U.S. Ambassador to Azerbaijan Richard Morningstar , answering the question of Turan.
According to him, to start flights they should solve some technical issues , in particular in the field of safety. By the end of the year, these works will be completed.
The Ambassador noted that in early March, the Federal Aviation Administration U.S. assigned to Azerbaijan the I degree rating in the field of international security. This will allow aviation companies of Azerbaijan to exercise direct flights to the U.S., which will promote tourism and trade between the two countries. -03C06-
