Azerbaijan and Qatar discuss joint investments in third countries
Baku/18.10.21/Turan: There is great potential for cooperation between Azerbaijan and Qatar in the field of mutual investments, including joint investments in third countries, the Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said at a meeting with Qatar Foreign Minister, co-chairman of the bilateral commission on economic cooperation Abdulrahman Al Thani on Monday.
It was noted that the regular meeting of the bilateral commission held in Baku will contribute to the expansion of trade and economic ties between the two countries, and an increase in mutual trade.
The parties also touched upon the prospects for cooperation in the field of tourism in the post-pandemic period. Talks between the foreign ministers of Azerbaijan and Qatar took place today. –06D-

The detention took place near the Vadi İstanbul shopping center in the Sarıyer district, where a taxi was stopped. During the search, 70 kg of gold was found. The Azerbaijani citizen in the vehicle claimed ownership of the cargo and also stated that he was a diplomat. The investigation by the prosecutor's office is ongoing, reports Sabah newspaper. The media outlet does not disclose the name of the "diplomat," only his initials – M.G.Ş. The Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs has declined to comment on the situation.
