Azerbaijan and Serbia are strategic partners
Baku/26.07.21/Turan: President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received a delegation of Serbia headed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the country, Nikola Selakovich.
According to a message published on the website of the President of Azerbaijan, "the successful development of strategic partnership relations between the two countries has been stressed" at the meeting.
The sides stressed the importance of the upcoming meeting of the Inter-governmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation between Azerbaijan and Serbia in Baku.
An emphasis was laid that Azerbaijan and Serbia are mutually supporting each other's territorial integrity.
President Aliyev noted that companies from friendly countries are engaged in restoring and reconstructing the liberated territories. In this vein, the possibility of participation of Serbian companies in this work was also emphasized.
It should be noted that a scandal arose in bilateral relations a year ago due to the supply of weapons from Serbia to Armenia.
Official Belgrade tried to deny its involvement in the supplies and sent a delegation to Baku to clarify the situation- 06D--
