Azerbaijan buys two Israeli air defense radars
Azerbaijan buys from Israel two new radar systems, reported Azeridefence site close to the Defense Ministry. The corresponding order was made recently to the firm Israel aerospace Industries, which will supply to Azerbaijan radar ELM- 2288 AD-STAR and ELM-2106NG.
The first radar is designed to enhance air defense systems, which are able to control aviation and other aircraft at a distance of up to 500 km in 3D format.
The second radar is a system of air defense army, and is intended to control the flight of aircraft and helicopters at low altitude up to 80 km . -02D-

On November 15, animal rights activist Kamran Mammadli was detained while staging a protest at the COP29 climate conference. Mammadli was protesting the shooting of street dogs in Azerbaijan. He raised a sign above his head that read: "Azerbaijani authorities are shooting dogs on the streets!" He also shouted: "Resign those who teach youth to be sycophants under the guise of volunteerism!"
