Baku/20.09.23/Turan: Azerbaijan has prepared a comprehensive plan for the integration of the Armenian population living in the Karabakh region, Presidential aide Hikmet Hajiyev said, speaking at a briefing in the capital Baku.
"The relevant state structures have developed a plan for broad socio-economic integration of the Armenian population of Karabakh," Hajiyev emphasized during the briefing.
While characterizing this integration initiative as an internal matter for Azerbaijan, Hajiyev also conveyed Baku's readiness to assess the humanitarian needs of the Armenian population in the region. "We are ready for negotiations," he affirmed, indicating the country's willingness to engage in dialogue regarding this significant endeavor.
The announcement comes amid a backdrop of renewed tensions in the Karabakh region, and it signals a potential shift towards reconciliation and cooperation.
